threaded memories

In Threaded Memories, I work with vintage photographs and postcards, transforming them through embroidery into reflections on memory, femininity, and the gaze. By stitching over these fragile images, I reclaim symbols of beauty, devotion, and morality that have shaped women’s identities. What was once a domestic craft becomes a gesture of strength and resistance. Each thread connects past and present, revealing the tension—and tenderness—woven into the way women have been seen and remembered.
